Rainforest conservation that works
The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation organization that takes direct action to save rainforest and other biologically important lands. The wilderness areas they buy are protected indefinitely as private reserves owned and managed by local organizations for the benefit of both wildlife and people. Brand Stand Limited is fortunate to have formed a strong alliance with the World Land Trust to create the world’s first truly Carbon-Free Chocolate brand. In the years to come we see this partnership as key to our goal of re-imagining the food and drinks industry around the guidelines of responsible environmental stewardship.
   
 
The FAIRTRADE Mark is a registered certification label for products sourced from producers in developing countries.
Fair Trade certification is awarded by the Fair Trade labelling organization (FLO) which is based in Bonn, Germany. This organization is non-profit, multi stakeholder association which involves 23 member organisations. The governing body develops and reviews Fair Trade standards and provides support to Fair Trade certified producers.
Organic Meltdown is committed to helping continue this growth and to ensure marginalized producers can develop economic self sufficiency, and ensures stability and to provide essential education for their families that we in the developed world take for granted.
